Cymbalta

I started a new medication which is an anti depressant with analgesic properties. It has been approved by the FDA in the USA for the treatment of Fibromyalgia which I suffer from greatly. Jorge and I are hoping it will lessen some of my pain that I talk about a lot of the time when I see him. he had stashed Lyrica the other drug approved by the FDA in the states for FM as well but figured the cons weight gain etc outweighed the pros so we went the fact that Kelly could call the Lilly Rep and get samples which she did so to my surprise Friday Jorge came through big Time and had three month supply of Cymbalta for me at 60 mg per day I might have to go up to 120 mg but do not know that yet and not right away. So that is the big news for me this week.

Erin my sister in law is recovering from a hysterectomy done on January 30th 2009 at home with splendid help from Ian helping with the Kids etc. I have talked to her a few times and she is recovering nicely. Talked to Mum this week and they went to Banff yesterday for a Art Show of one of their friends and to pick Julian up from a visit with Keith and Lisa. Julian usually has fun their which was a nice break from U of C for him. Heard dad is limping around work still even though he had a nerve block done last week and i wonder why??? I have been quite active on some of my yahoo email lists lately one being FMS-UK could not ask for much more support than from Abi and those fgolks there.

SO Iam hoping and I think a lot of people who know me online or off want the Cymbalta to work on the FM pain they have seen too much suffering since the official diagnosis in November of 1999 by my family doctor to think other wise so here is hoping.
